The Queen Elizabeth Academy is an 11-16 mixed academy based in Atherstone with approximately 660 pupils on roll. Following our Ofsted inspection in May 2017, we were shown to be “Good with Outstanding features”, a real testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff and students. Our summer 2019 examination results were fantastic. Our performance was well above National Averages in key performance criteria and our Progress 8 score of +0.24 was once again quite stunning. Our internal data and subsequent Centre Assessed grades indicate that students were on course for a similar P8 score in 2020. In November 2016, as part of the Priority School Building Programme, we moved into brand new premises that have given us access to fantastic new facilities, which really set us apart in the locality
