This is a brilliant opportunity to work in an English Faculty that comprises 7 specialist rooms, 1 Accelerated Reader/KS3 Library classroom and an intervention room. If you are looking to work in a 'good with outstanding features school' Ofsted 2013, with fantastic facilities then Roding Valley could be the place for you. The outcomes at GCSE in 2021 (in English Language and Literature) were above the national average with 84%+ achieving grade 4s and 67%+ achieving grade 5s. This meant that 90% of students achieved a standard pass in English. The uptake at A level is also very good and 78% of students achieved a grade A*-B last summer.
It is an exciting time in the history of the school with the further development of the sixth form, expansion of pupil numbers, a new building which has provided a state-of-the-art learning environment and two new all-weather sports facilities.
