What skills and experience we're looking for
Our English Faculty plays a vital role in the ongoing improvements within the School and is central to our students' academic success with results that reflect this. We offer a diverse and engaging curriculum, with A-level courses in English Language & Literature, English Literature, and Media Studies, and many of our students continue to higher education and pursue careers related to their love of English. At both GCSE and A Level our students’ results are consistently amongst the best in the School. As the Second in Department, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Department to help shape and deliver this exciting curriculum.
We
are looking for a candidate who demonstrates a passion for teaching, creativity
in lesson planning, and a strong commitment to student progress, both in and
outside the classroom. You will bring fresh ideas, support the department in
its goals, and foster an engaging learning environment. Experience of teaching
A Level would be desirable.
