The successful candidate will join an open and welcoming English team to teach across the full range of learners at Stocksbridge High School. There will be opportunities to teach English Language and Literature up to GCSE level and, by working with the team, evolve the curriculum learning resources to ensure students can progress successfully following the disruption of lockdown. We want Stocksbridge students to be well-read, articulate and to develop a love both literature and language, so we are looking for a dedicated, passionate and great classroom practitioner to join the team.
Please note this is a temporary contract to cover a Maternity Leave within the English department.
The closing date is 1pm on Friday 30 April 2021, and interviews will take place on Friday
7 May 2021.
