Teacher of English job summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented teacher of English to join our very effective and dedicated team.
To be successful, you will have an outstanding teaching ability and the skills to motivate and engage students.
Over the last four years, English Language and Literature GCSE and A Level results have improved to above the national average; this trajectory is projected to continue. We are housed in a suite of 10 rooms within the main school building where we utilise the latest pedagogical strategies to drive progress. The academy has a strong CPD model to ensure teaching is good or better.
You will become a member of a very strong English Faculty where the teachers are experienced, knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. This is a unique opportunity to work within an English faculty on a knowledge-rich journey in its approach to teaching and learning; where students are hardworking and have a positive ethos. ECTs are invited to apply for this position and will benefit from an excellent ECT programme.

The Pingle Academy is an 11–19 co-educational comprehensive school. We became an academy in May 2017 and joined The de Ferrers Trust. Our oversubscribed academy is the academy of choice in the local area and enjoys an excellent local reputation.
