Teacher of English + TLR 2.3 job summary
The Northworthy Trust are looking to appoint an aspiring leader and an outstanding practitioner of English who will also support the development of teaching, learning and achievement school wide. The successful candidate will be innovative, ambitious, enthusiastic and proactive.
They will have the opportunity to work with leaders and colleagues across the school to ensure strong academic progression from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 and beyond and will be able to demonstrate how they have supported students to ensure excellent progress and successful outcomes for them.
The successful candidate will have strategic and managerial responsibility for English in Years 7 to 9, working closely with colleagues to manage the curriculum, the quality of teaching, the appropriateness and reliability of assessment, and ultimately the overall progress of students.
