Job summary
Pioneer Educational Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, forward-thinking and outstanding teaching practitioner to the post of Teacher of English at Trevelyan Middle School. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of outstanding teaching and offer a variety of extra-curricular activities for our students. The successful candidate must be able to contribute to the department’s aim of providing the highest standards of student achievement in Key Stage two and three.
The Trustees are seeking candidates who are passionate about teaching and promote independent learning both within and outside the classroom.
The successful candidate will:
Have a willingness to extend and develop their subject knowledge;
Have a collaborative approach to teaching with the ability to deliver the subject through a variety of innovative ways;
Have a passion for different areas of the curriculum and the ability to share this with young people;
Be able to develop the use of technology within the subject;
Be willing to offer extra support through clubs, visits and enrichment classes.
