Teacher of English job summary
We are seeking to recruit a well-qualified and highly motivated practitioner to enhance our outstanding and high performing curriculum area teaching across Key Stages 3 & 4 and potentially A Level for the right candidate. This post is open to NQTs and experienced teachers.

Weatherhead High School is a large 11 to 18 oversubscribed girls’ comprehensive school with approximately 1540 students on roll. There is an excellent mixed Sixth Form with nearly 300 students. We have a PAN of 254 for each year group from Year 7 to 11 and the school of choice for girls in Wallasey and the surrounding area.
We were judged to be an Ofsted ‘Good’ provider in our recent inspection in November 2022. During the inspection, inspectors commented that ‘Weatherhead High School is a happy and friendly learning community. Pupils, students in the Sixth Form and staff are proud to belong to this school. Relationships between staff and pupils are strong.’
