We are seeking to recruit a well-qualified, highly motivated, and ambitious teacher to join the English department and take on the role of Head of Year 8.
The English Department is a hardworking, friendly department with a mixture of experienced and recently qualified teachers. The successful candidate will potentially teach both GCSE and A level.
Beaumont School has an excellent reputation for pastoral care and as Head of Year 8 you will oversee the leadership and management of the year team, be responsible for interventions, behaviour, attendance and wellbeing of the year group. You will work alongside other Heads of Year and be line managed by the Head of Key Stage.
Great emphasis is placed on working together and sharing ideas so an ability to work within a team is crucial. This position would not be suitable for an ECT.
If you are an enthusiastic and committed teacher with excellent qualifications, we would be delighted to hear from you.
