TEACHER OF ETHICS (Social Sciences and PSHE/RSHE) – MPS/UPS

Our students require a teacher of Ethics who has the ability to deliver high quality teaching and learning for our students. We are seeking a talented and inspiring teacher to join our rapidly changing and improving school. The successful candidate will be joining a strong and dedicated department of professional practitioners.
The successful candidate will be able to teach our Ethics programme (incorporating RSHE, PSHE, Citizenship and Religious Studies) to Y7-Y11 students. They will also teach one of the faculty’s assessed courses: GCSE Religious Studies or A Level Philosophy, Sociology or Psychology. Please state in your application which assessed course or courses would match your expertise and experience.
You must possess a track record of successful teaching practice, underpinned by strong subject knowledge. In addition, we are seeking candidates with highly developed communication and organisation skills combined with the ability to engage, enthuse and motivate our students to achieve their potential.
The school will seek to invest in the successful candidate, offering extensive CPD opportunities to fast track to middle leadership through enrolment on national leadership programmes. A CPD plan will be designed to ensure career progression in line with aspirations and personal goals.
