What the school offers its staff

Debenham High School is committed to staff wellbeing and professional development, providing a bespoke CPD programme, an Employee Assistance Plan, and a staff benefits scheme.

Further details about the role

We are an oversubscribed, high-achieving, 11-16 comprehensive school seeking to appoint someone to deliver the Food and Nutrition Curriculum from September 2024.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a strong and dedicated team of specialist staff in the Art, Design and Technology Faculty.

Food and Nutrition is a popular and successful option choice at KS4 taught in a recently refurbished, spacious classroom layout.

We also have a vacancy for a part-time Art & DT Technician and it would be possible to combine both roles for a candidate wishing to work additional hours.

Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff, volunteers and trustees to share this commitment.

Our recruitment process follows the keeping children safe in education guidance.

Offers of employment may be subject to the following checks (where relevant):
