What skills and experience we're looking for
An enthusiastic Teacher of Design & Technology with a food specialism to join a successful and well-resourced curriculum area.
Applications are welcomed from early career teachers and experienced teachers. The department is forward thinking and innovative; and is committed to collaborative working.
The successful candidate will be required to teach both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
What the school offers its staff
Within the Design and Technology, we offer a robust KS3 curriculum covering a number of material areas including Food, Timbers, Metals and Polymers on a rotation.
At Jack Hunt, student uptake of KS4 Hospitality and Catering is particularly high. Product Design is also offered at KS4. The school has two well equipped kitchens, a range of well-equipped workshops and multi-use classrooms which allows us to maximise student engagement.
