What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you passionate about Design Technology especially Food and Nutrition and can deliver high quality lessons and excellent outcomes for pupils? Then come and join our ambitious Art & Design Technology team that are high performing and forward-thinking at Rainhill High School, including Rainhill Sixth.
We are seeking to appoint an innovative and creative Food Technology teacher who has the capacity to enthuse, engage and inspire our pupils through strong subject knowledge; someone who thrives on collaboration and teamwork; a committed professional with high levels of personal motivation and ambition. This position is a fixed term maternity leave cover to start in September 2023.
Applications are welcome from both experienced and newly qualified Design Technology teachers from a range of disciplinary backgrounds who are specialists in Food Technology.
You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills with a genuine commitment to teaching and the ability to develop our pupils’ love of learning in Art & Design Technology. If you believe you have the skills and dedication to meet our standards, and be part of our pursuit of excellence, then we are the school for you.

Rainhill High School is a co-educational secondary school and sixth form centre located in Rainhill, Merseyside, England.
The school converted to an academy under Rainhill Learning Village in March 2017. More recently, the school has become part of the Stephenson Trust.
