Further details about the role

Nidderdale High School is part of the Moorlands Learning Trust and a member of the Red Kite Teaching School Alliance. Both students and staff enjoy the benefits of school improvement, professional development and career progression opportunities in the Trust & partnership working within the Alliance.

In January 2023, Ofsted judged the school ‘continues to be Good' in all areas of its provision. The ethos of the school, ‘a shared vision’ for ensuring the quality of education continues to improve from an already good position and the morale and wellbeing of staff were all highlighted in the report.

If you have the motivation and drive for excellence and want to be part of an enthusiastic, dedicated and well-resourced team, committed to ensuring that all students make the best possible progress in an ambitious school with the desire to be 'Outstanding', we would be pleased to receive an application from you.

Please complete the application form and submit by the closing date. Ensure your Supporting Statement explains:

  • How you inspire and engage students to make excellent progress.
  • Your experience, qualities and skills which make you suitable for the post
  • The area of curriculum or pastoral leadership you would be interested in contributing to if this is of interest to you
