We are an 11-18 academy based just north of the large, friendly, South Yorkshire town of Doncaster.
We offer a holistic education that makes learning stimulating, engaging and enjoyable for every student.
In our most recent Ofsted inspection, we were rated Requires Improvement with Good leadership, having previously been rated Outstanding.
Ofsted noted that the ‘recently appointed principal leads school with vision, vigour and a real sense of urgency.’ This has included putting in place new systems which are ‘helping to assure improvement across the school.’
The inspectors were equally complimentary about our sixth form provision, highlighting that ‘it is focused carefully on students’ needs’ and that it ‘raises their aspirations and guides them on to their next steps.’
As we continue our journey back to Outstanding, we want you to help to take us to the next level.
To help you do that, we work hard to ensure we reduce workload on our colleagues, allowing more time in the classroom to put our vision of students first, raising standards and transforming lives into practice.
We will also actively invest in your future through working closely with the Outwood Institute of Education to offer access to a wide range of CPD opportunities, with all staff receiving a minimum of two hours’ CPD each week.
