Teacher of Food Preparation and Nutrition job summary
Required for September 2022. The Governors of this outstanding, high achieving and oversubscribed Catholic Voluntary Academy wish to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and highly motivated teacher of Food Preparation and Nutrition at GCSE and WJEC Level 3 Certificate in Food Science & Nutrition at KS5.
Food Preparation and Nutrition is a popular and successful subject at St Mary’s. It is part of the Creative Design Faculty (also incorporating Drama, Art, Music and DT) which has a high profile within the school. The facilities are excellent with one well equipped food room and a part time technician. The staff are forward thinking and the Faculty has a reputation for strong student work. This is an opportunity to take the subject in a new and exciting direction.
You will join a forward-thinking and high-achieving department and be committed to delivering genuinely imaginative, engaging and varied lessons. This appointment provides the opportunity to teach well-motivated, hard-working and high achieving pupils.
