Teacher of Food Technology job summary
Cansfield High School is looking to appoint a teacher of Creatives. The post will involve teaching Food and Nutrition within our Creative Faculty. The successful candidate will be an inspiring and dynamic teacher with a passion for food and nutrition with the vision to develop further in this popular and successful department. Importantly, they should also be able to work collaboratively to achieve the very best for students.
This post is open to experienced and newly qualified teachers and is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and dynamic teacher who will be able to participate fully in the ongoing development of the subject as required in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
A creative approach to teaching and an ability to enthuse others would be highly valued. The successful person will need to demonstrate a clear philosophy for the learning of all children; able to demonstrate proven communication skills; able to offer practical strategies that enable children of all abilities to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate should be able to communicate a deep and genuine interest in finding ways to involve young people in learning.
