What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a creative Teacher of Food Technology who is an outstanding teacher capable of delivering inspirational lessons and able to ensure that students studying Food Technology are appropriately challenged, supported, and achieve their expected levels of progress or better.
This position would also be suitable for a driven NQT wishing to begin their career as part of a supportive, collaborative, and forward-looking subject team.
Fortis Academy is a very large 11-18 academy serving a local area of high-density housing in Birmingham’s outer suburbs. The Academy is the largest employer in the ward, with over 200 employees. It is part of the North Area Network of schools, one of six network regions in the city. The setting is uniquely split into a Foundation Academy and Senior Academy.
