What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an outstanding Qualified Teacher of Food Technology to join our hugely successful Design Department on a one year, fixed term contract from September 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented, dynamic and ambitious ECT or experienced professional.
The successful applicant must:
- be passionate and committed to improving teaching and learning.
- have excellent interpersonal and presentational skills.
- be receptive to change and have the ability to work under pressure.
- be able to work well as part of a welcoming, hard-working and committed team.
- maximise the potential of students of all abilities.
- have a current hygiene certificate in catering.
- experience of teaching Health & Social Care would be an advantage, although this is not essential.
