Teacher of Food Technology with Art job summary
The Role
We are now recruiting for a talented Teacher of Food Technology with Art. Candidates with the ability to teach multiple disciplines within the Art, Design and Technology Department are particularly welcomed.
We are looking for applications from practitioners with passion and commitment who are able to promote their subject throughout the College and have excellent subject knowledge and skills. The department has high quality cooking facilities which enable students to be creative in their cooking and developing excellent culinary skills.
You will be well supported by our excellent head of department and your teaching will be underpinned by strong schemes of work and assessment and the work of the United Learning subject advisory team. You will have the opportunity to teach students in Years 7 to 11 and will join an innovative and highly committed team who support one another to succeed and share a deep interest in professional learning and development
For the right candidate, there may also be opportunities available for additional responsibilities linked to intervention and support for disadvantaged students dependent on experience.
