What skills and experience we're looking for
The Department
As a Teacher of French you will join a focused, forward-thinking department with a total of ten teachers. We are looking for someone who is able to apply energy and enthusiasm to their work and the department.
You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of all of our students at Kenilworth School.
The Role
The successful applicant should be aspirational, innovative and have a genuine engaging enthusiasm for the teaching and learning of MFL.
As a Teacher of French, you should be able to teach across both Key Stages 3 and 4. The ability to teach French up to KS 5 would be advantageous and to also teach Spanish would also be advantageous, but not essential.
We would welcome applications from ECTs or experienced teachers.

The School
Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust has a vacancy for a Teacher of French from Easter 2023. The vacancy is based at Kenilworth School and Sixth Form.
Kenilworth School and Sixth Form is rated as Outstanding by Ofsted (2013) and as the only secondary school in the community of Kenilworth, is oversubscribed with motivated and well behaved pupils.
We are currently a split site, with Years 7 – 11 based at Leyes Lane and Sixth Form set on our Rouncil Lane site. This is an exciting time to join us as the school will move to a newly built, bespoke school in Kenilworth in September 2023. The school is well resourced to support the delivery of the subject. The post holder will join a supportive team with opportunities for professional development.
