What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of French to join our team of highly committed linguists. Candidates must have the ability to teach French at KS3, KS4, and A-Level. The ability to offer some Spanish would be a bonus but not essential. ECT teachers are welcome to apply and we offer a fully supported programme, including regular subject specific mentoring and whole school training. The successful candidate will be well-qualified and committed to ensuring excellent outcomes for every student.

MFL is taught as a core subject at KS3, and is currently optional at KS4. Students who choose a language do well at Wollaston.

We currently offer both French and German at A-level and students achieve well in these subjects.

What the school offers its staff

We have over 1400 students on roll with approximately 240 students in the Sixth Form.
