What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an imaginative, enthusiastic, and committed teacher of French and/or Spanish to join this outstanding selective school for boys.

We offer the chance to access teaching across all the key stages in a Languages department that is strong and achieves very good results with our talented students.

The ability to teach up to GCSE level in either French or Spanish is essential, whilst a willingness to teach A Level for one of the subjects is desirable.

The ability to teach both KS3 French and Spanish is essential as our pupils start in Y7 studying both languages. The school still offers flexibility in choice for KS4 with around 75% of students choosing to study either French or Spanish to GCSE level.

The post is suitable for an ECT, where you could expect a large amount of specialist support in your first two years, but is equally suited to a more experienced colleague looking for a new challenge with high achieving and motivated students.
