About Sir Thomas Fremantle School
STFS is a welcoming and caring school that is oversubscribed and academically successful. Our GCSE results place us firmly as one of the top performing non-selective schools across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes. Being a small school, we have a unique opportunity to get to know each of our young people and their families, to develop a genuinely personalised approach to their learning and to offer the very best in academic rigour and pastoral care.
The students at STFS benefit from highly qualified and committed staff who understand the various challenges that young people face. The smaller class sizes and relationships that are deep rooted in mutual respect mean that students at STFS are more than a statistic. They feel valued and are keen to learn. We are committed to providing an environment where learners can learn and teachers can teach.
We strive for excellence in all we do. This is not just limited to academic excellence. We want our students to leave school as ambitious, resilient and happy young adults who have immersed themselves in all that STFS offers and, as a result, are able to make positive contributions to the world that they will face. At STFS, we focus on developing the whole person: we want our students to stand tall and feel a sense of pride in all they achieve
