What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Good knowledge of French
  • Have experience of teaching KS3 and KS4 French.
  • Good understanding of pedagogy
  • Commitment to being involved in the wider life of school through participation in extra-curricular activities
  • Degree or equivalent in French specialism or related subject
  • Qualified teacher status
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Enjoys working with young people
  • Able to engage, enthuse and motivate students of all abilities
  • Maintains high professional standards
  • Commitment and enthusiasm for teaching French
