Teacher of French job summary
We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about languages, enjoys working as a member of a team and is constantly seeking ways in which they can improve on their current practice. This role sits within the school’s vision of educating well-rounded global citizens. Rather than reducing the number of linguists in the school, substantial recent changes are geared towards raising the expectations of language learning across the school and beyond. In the context of increasing global uncertainty, we hope you share our passion that languages can bring communities together.
This is a permanent, full-time appointment effective from 1st September 2022 with a salary payable on the main professional or upper pay scales (MPS1-UPS3) Applications are welcome from teachers at any stage in their career.
The successful applicant will be required to teach French throughout the age range and the ability to offer a second language to KS3 or beyond would be an advantage. In addition, the successful applicant will have responsibility for a form and will be required to deliver their weekly lesson of Personal & Social Education.
