What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Have a passion for French & a drive to ensure that all students engage in a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Be up to date and familiar with the exam board and curriculum changes for French.
  • Have experience in teaching at least two key stages.

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher of French. Both the French & Spanish departments are very experienced collegiate teams that form our excellent Modern Foreign Languages Faculty. The successful candidate will be led by our Head of Department for French and supported by our Head of Faculty for MFL.

Our MFL team has worked hard with our students to develop a culture where languages are celebrated and promoted across all key stages. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a team totally made up of subject specialists with leaders dedicated to promoting a love of languages to our students.

The languages team is dedicated to offering enriching experiences to our students. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to our enrichment & extra-curricular programme on offer. The school has also recently signed up to the Department for Education’s Mandarin Excellence programme; which provides us with fantastic opportunities to explore other languages.

We are a school that prides itself on keeping up to date with educational research & ensuring that our learners are equipped for the modern age; our Digital learning strategy is a testament to this.
