Further details about the role

We’re looking to appoint a teacher of French and Spanish who would relish the opportunity to inspire our highly motivated, articulate and diligent student body. The school greatly values the contribution that the study of languages brings to its curriculum offer and to the all-round development of the students, helping them become more culturally aware and flourish as global citizens.

Both French and Spanish are popular subject choices at GCSE and A Level, with a number pursuing dual language GCSEs. Our languages departments supported the achievement of an extraordinary set of grades in 2024 with 76% of French and 95% of Spanish GCSE grades respectively at level 9-8, and 86% A*-A in French and 100% A*-A in Spanish A-Level grades respectively. Both languages are ably supported by specialist Foreign Language Assistants.
