What skills and experience we're looking for
You will be carrying out the professional duties of a class teacher and as such will provide the provision of an appropriate learning experience for all pupils under the guidance of the Assistant Principal.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the duties of the Teacher of Fresh Start position. These include:
- the ability to teach consistently good phonics lessons;
- the ability to be a proactive team member committed to raising standards and achievement;
- excellent organisational skills;
- strong and effective communication skills;
- the willingness to share strengths and learning with colleagues; and
- the ability to show initiative and flexibility and be highly professional.
Unqualified teacher applications with experience will also be considered.
