The successful candidate will be:
- An excellent classroom practitioner – in Geography but also able to teach some lessons of History and Religious Studies if required

- Passionate about teaching and learning and your own professional development
- Responsible for Schemes of Learning and resources for core RS delivery for Years 9, 10 and 11, ensuring that these adhere to the requirements of the Living Difference IV syllabus
- Responsible for attending RS training events as appropriate to develop knowledge of the RS syllabus
- Responsible for monitoring the delivery of core RS tutor sessions to ensure high quality delivery and engagement
- Able to make a significant contribution to the development of the Humanities Faculty and wider school life

We are seeking an innovative, highly effective and inspirational full-time Teacher of Geography and Humanities from Easter 2023 with a TLR3 for leading our Key Stage 4 core RS programme.
Brighton Hill Community School has recently rated as ‘Outstanding’ in 3 of the 4 areas inspected by Ofsted and ‘Good’ overall. We continue our rapid progress journey of ‘making success inevitable’ as a coeducational 11-16 Community School with over 1,200 students. You will teach Geography but also be able to teach some lessons of History and Religious Studies if required across the age and attainment range and make a significant positive contribution to the vision of the school. In addition, you will plan, develop and monitor the delivery of core RS through the tutor programme to Key Stage 4 students.
