What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic, forward-thinking Teacher of Geography with energy, intellectual capacity and determination to join our successful department, and make a difference to the lives, aspirations and opportunities of our young people.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding professional who takes pride in their work and is determined to develop the teaching of Geography so that students of all abilities enjoy their learning and are motivated to succeed. A significant area of success in Geography at Chatham Grammar is our Green Team. All the department staff engage with students in this regard and our award-winning team are always looking for new opportunities to grow this endeavor. The Green Team provides opportunities for students to become involved with the local community and the environment, engage with local groups and guest speakers; they work to enhance the academy space and help the wider academy community become more sustainable by modelling ways of caretaking our planet.
