Teacher of Geography job summary
Barclay Academy, part of Future Academies, seeks an inspirational Teacher of Geography who is confident in their subject area, with the vision and drive to motivate and enthuse students.
The Geography department is a collaborative and experienced team, results at both GCSE and A Level are very strong and the Department are passionate about embedding an academically rigorous curriculum and assessment model across key stages.
Applications are welcomed from NQTs, and also from those offering more experience or seeking wider responsibility.
We are developing an academic culture at Barclay Academy where the highest standards are expected of staff and students. It is a dynamic and demanding school, where students and staff are exceptionally well supported. Applicants are expected to be confident at delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4. There is also an opportunity to deliver A-level for applicants with prior experience.
A location easily accessible by train and bus
For those staff who will be NQTs in the 2018-2019 academic year, participation in the Hertfordshire subject program
