Teacher of Geography job summary

 We are seeking a well-qualified, passionate Teacher of Geography to join our successful and ambitious department.  This is a part time, permanent position, 3 days per week, which would suit an NQT or an experienced colleague.  

 

The Geography department at St Ivo Academy is highly successful. We have held the GA’s Secondary Geography Quality mark for the last 6 years and we are also a Geographical Association Centre of Excellence. Geography is a very popular option at GCSE and we currently have 13 GCSE groups across Year 10 and 11. We are following the AQA GCSE specification. Geography at A Level is also a very popular option with 41 across Year 12/13 students and we follow the OCR A level syllabus.
