What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an exceptional teacher of Geography to join our growing Humanities team in our small family school.

We are excited to appoint this new role in Geography- we are looking for an individual to join the team as it continues to grow as our school numbers rise. We are flexible and could support full time or part time colleagues or flexible working. The Humanities team is a strong team, who are supportive and are committed to excellence. The subject is very popular with students, and choices for Key Stage 4 are increasing year on year as a result.

The successful candidate will be passionate, creative and enthusiastic with a determination to achieve the highest outcomes, have an incisive understanding of teaching and learning and the ability to reflect and challenge. Professional development opportunities are plentiful and we are working hard to be innovative around workload- we want you to have a balanced life and enjoy working with our children! We have really strong supportive policies on feedback, reporting and behaviour for learning that allow you and your team time to plan and teach excellent lessons.
