Teacher of Geography job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, forward-thinking Teacher of Geography with energy, intellectual capacity and determination to join our popular and high-achieving department and make a difference to the lives, aspirations and opportunities of our young people.
You will be an innovative teacher who has a secure understanding of the Geography curriculum and has proven strategies for helping students raise their aspirations and achieve the highest of grades. Our students are driven and capable and you will support them in pushing the boundaries and reaching their full potential.
The Geography department at Chatham Grammar is a small but dedicated team and they take an active role in the school community. The team promote critical thinking skills, resilience and empathy through their teaching and deliver a curriculum that is designed with future geographers in mind.
In recent years, the Geography department has supported students through the awarding winning Chatham Grammar Green Team to create a more environmentally friendly school, which has included securing funding for and planting trees on-site.
