The ideal candidate will be passionate about Geography and able to deliver it across all three key stages. Geography is an extremely popular subject at Guilsborough at both KS4 and KS5, we follow the AQA specification at both levels. Geography is part of the humanities department, a close-knit team who regularly share ideas and resources with one another.
The geography department is fully resourced with schemes of learning, lesson power points, as well as fieldwork equipment. As a supportive department we welcome applications from ECT’s or more experienced professionals. We welcome applications from Early Career Teachers for a September 2024 start, as well as experienced teaching staff. ECTs benefit from a fully supported programme, including regular subject-specific mentoring and comprehensive school-wide training.
