We are seeking to appoint an aspiring leader of the future to help elevate our Geography department to the next level, and would welcome applicants who are looking to move into curriculum leadership in the next few years and who would like to be coached in this area.

We are looking for an inspirational teacher who can bring Geography alive in the classroom and also work with the Head of Humanities to develop our extra-curricular and fieldwork opportunities in Geography for Key Stages 3-5.

For those keen to develop along a pastoral route we may have opportunities for the right candidate in this area.

As a teacher of Geography, the appointed person will consistently deliver high-quality learning opportunities to young people, ensuring aspirational standards of behaviour, engagement and achievement are evident at all times, while contributing to the calm environment of the Academy and Sixth Form.

Classroom teachers must ensure they work within the policies and procedures as laid out by the Trust and provide a good role model for young people, both in and out of the school environment. All teaching staff are expected to meet the national core standards for professionals at all times.

Holderness Academy & Sixth Form College is a large comprehensive school with 1108 students on roll, including 105 in the Sixth Form.
