What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful applicant will be required to teach Geography to pupils in Years 7-13, including GCSE and A-Level. The successful applicant will also be required to undertake the role of form tutor delivering their fortnightly form period. Applications are welcome from candidates at any stage in their career.

What the school offers its staff

There are two dedicated Geography teaching rooms – each is equipped with an electronic whiteboard. All teachers are provided with a school laptop.

Geography is taught as a discrete subject in Years 7-9 with all pupils receiving 3 or 4 fifty-minute lessons per fortnight. The subject is optional at GCSE and A-Level. Fieldwork is a strong element of the geography curriculum for all year groups with opportunities being offered to study locally, within the UK and beyond.
