Teacher of Geography - Part Time (2 or 3 days) job summary
We seek to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic graduate teacher of Geography from September 2021 to join a highly successful department in a selective school that has been rated by Ofsted as outstanding for over a decade. This is an opportunity to work in a friendly environment which encourages professional development. The post is a part-time position for two or three days per week. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and NQTs.
Geography is an extremely popular subject choice at both Key Stages 4 and 5. At Key Stage 5, the department offers Geography in the International Baccalaureate (Diploma Programme) and there would be the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of this innovative course. There is a full and varied fieldwork programme with opportunities in each year group for students to develop high level enquiry skills in a diverse range of environments, including overseas visits each year.
