Teacher of Geography job summary
We are looking to appoint an outstanding, highly committed and creative teacher of Geography to join a successful and forward-thinking Humanities faculty. You will be required to teach Geography at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Due to the success of A Level subjects within the Faculty, the ability to teach Geography at Key Stage 5 would be an advantage. The ability to teach exciting, innovative and engaging lessons, where students’ learning is the focus, is absolutely paramount.
You will be an outstanding teacher, innovative and hardworking, and willing to contribute to our dedicated team as well as to the College as a whole. Above all, you will be committed to developing high quality teaching and learning to ensure that students enjoy, are challenged by and make good progress in Geography within a safe environment.
This post would suit an NQT as well as a more experienced colleague looking to develop their skills within a high performing, supportive team.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure Barring Service (DBS).
