Job summary

We are seeking to appoint an innovative Teacher of Geography to join our successful and hardworking team. The successful applicant will be learner centered and a collaborative practitioner. The post offers excellent opportunities for a committed teacher with good knowledge of the GCSE syllabi to teach Geography to KS3 and KS4.

Essential educational requirements

Educated to degree level in relevant subject.

Essential qualifications

Qualified Teacher Status.

Essential skills and experience

Experience of teaching Geography to at least KS 4 level.
Excellent classroom practitioner.
Total commitment to multicultural context and multi-faith communities.
Knowledge of the Geography syllabi.
Ability to use ICT for teaching and administrative purposes.
Ability to relate to, and motivate, learners.
Excellent communication skills.
Enthusiasm for subject.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
