Wombourne High School are recruiting for a Teacher of Geography from September 2024 or sooner if possible.

We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands.

We are looking to appoint a talented professional with very good subject knowledge and a clear understanding of effective and engaging teaching and learning to join our capable and supportive Geography Department.At Wombourne High School we highly value personal attributes of hard work, positivity and kindness, and we are looking for staff who can model these values.

What the school offers its staff

We are a one form entry primary school with a Nursery in the Lye area of Stourbridge, with 219 children on roll including our on-site Nursery. The school opened in 1967 and has been a central part of the community since then. We have an amazing site, with lots of green areas including a huge playing field and a wooded area which we use for Forest School.

Our staff are dedicated to doing the best for our children - there have been many changes in staffing over the past few years, and we now have a small and committed team driving forwards, together.

We are excited that we have started out journey within Invictus Education Trust this September - the transition has been smooth, and there are already so many exciting opportunities for both children and staff.
