Required for November 2024, a well qualified and dedicated Teacher of Girl’s Physical Education
This post offers the opportunity to teach across the age range from Years 7 to 11 including BTEC Sport. The successful candidate will make an outstanding contribution to the future development of this subject and display a clear commitment towards the continual raising of standards through extra-curricular and enrichment activities. Your drive, ability and infectious enthusiasm will ensure the continued delivery of first class sports provision across the school; creating a positive environment where all students feel a sense of belonging.

Humphry Davy School is situated in beautiful West Cornwall and is committed to ensuring the highest quality of education for all our students. Ofsted (Short Inspection November 2016) judged the school as ‘good’ and stated, “Across the school we found that pupils were very keen to learn. Pupils we spoke with enjoy coming to school and feel that they are making good progress. Pupils are well-mannered and keen to tell visitors how good the school is and how it keeps them safe”. A more recent visit in July 2022 by the LA education effectiveness team highlighted how staff create a positive atmosphere and inclusive ethos, leading to all students having a sense of belonging to the Humphry Davy Community.
