What skills and experience we're looking for

The Forest School is a highly successful, friendly and dynamic 11-16 School, committed to achieving high standards and to developing the potential of all our students and staff. We have an ever-increasing number of students joining us each year and have seen our results go from strength to strength. We are seeking a teacher of Girls’ PE and Games to join our enthusiastic team in order to further innovate and excite students about this subject. Our active PE department sees students involved in a varied curriculum and a range of extra-curricular activities. We are also looking forward to the realisation of plans to build our brand new dance studio and fitness suite.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;

▪ Qualified Teacher Status

▪ the ability to motivate students and achieve excellent results

▪ excellent organisational and ICT skills

▪ good subject knowledge

▪ the capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team

▪ An enthusiasm for teaching Girls’ PE and Games

▪ The ability to teach a second subject is desirable
