What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors wish to appoint an excellent and versatile Teacher of Girls’ PE to work within a friendly, supportive and hardworking team. We welcome applications from both well qualified teachers and those who are at the beginning of their career. There may be future leadership development opportunities available within this department also so leadership experience is desirable but not essential.
We are looking for candidates with excellent teaching and organisation skills. The successful candidate will be an innovative classroom practitioner with high expectations and you will have the ability to inspire all students to participate, perform or excel in Physical Education. Opportunities to teach GCSE, A level and BTEC Sport at Level 2 and Level 3 are available and any experience in teaching academic PE is extremely desirable. The school has a very strong tradition in extra-curricular sport and you will have opportunities to contribute to this really important aspect of our Physical Education offer.
