Further details about the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic teacher of Girls’ PE to join our team in September 2023. Our PE Department is known for its excellence in teaching and learning, in addition to a strong co-curricular provision with clubs running before, during and after school. Pupils enjoy competing in more than 350 external sports fixtures across a variety of sports and House sport plays a key role in the wider life of school. PE is a very popular course choice, with BTEC, GCSE and A Level consistently delivering excellent results.

The Department boasts superb facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, sports hall, huge playing fields, cricket nets, floodlit multi-purpose pitches, gym, dance studio and fitness suite. A Level experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

The successful candidate will be expected to play a full part in the extracurricular programme.

How to Apply: The easiest way to apply is by clicking the Apply button. Alternatively, you can download our application form from the ‘Vacancies’ section of our website and send your completed document to office@kennetschool.co.uk.

The school’s successes are well documented, but we believe that it is most impressive when seen in action. We welcome enquiries and visits prior to application, so please get in touch with Mr G Clegg, Deputy Headteacher for more information.

Deadline: Friday, 16 June 2023.

Candidates selected for interview will be informed by telephone soon after. We reserve the right to interview before the application deadline in exceptional cases, so we encourage early applications.
