Further details about the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic teacher of Girls’ PE to join our team in September 2023. Our PE Department is known for its excellence in teaching and learning, in addition to a strong co-curricular provision with clubs running before, during and after school. Pupils enjoy competing in more than 350 external sports fixtures across a variety of sports and House sport plays a key role in the wider life of school. PE is a very popular course choice, with BTEC, GCSE and A Level consistently delivering excellent results.
The Department boasts superb facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, sports hall, huge playing fields, cricket nets, floodlit multi-purpose pitches, gym, dance studio and fitness suite. A Level experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
The successful candidate will be expected to play a full part in the extracurricular programme.
