Teacher of Girls PE (Maternity Cover) job summary
Required for April 2021, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic & well-qualified teacher of Girls PE.
Applications are welcomed from both experienced & newly qualified teachers (we offer a full induction programme to NQTs). Visits to the Academy for an informal conversation are welcomed.
The successful candidate will:
• Be passionate about their subject bringing energy & enthusiasm to the pupils they teach;
• Be able to teach across the age & ability range, demonstrating excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students to enable them to achieve their full potential;
• Have a strong understanding of PE and contribute fully to our extensive extra-curricular programme.
• Have experience in teaching examination PE at KS4 and KS5.

The Academy is continuing to expand and due to its popularity and increasing student numbers, a new £6 million wing was opened in September 2018.
