We are looking for a highly motivated Teacher of PE, who believes in putting students first and removing barriers, to be part of the next stage of our rapid improvement journey.

Benefitting from extensive sports facilities which include a Sports Hall, Gymnasium, flood lit astro turf pitches, multiple grass pitches including brand new rugby posts and outdoor athletics tracks and a mirrored Dance Studio with vinyl sprung flooring, The Hinckley School is able to provide unique opportunities to all it’s students.

The PE Department have an excellent track record of sporting success in both girls and boys PE at local, regional and national level with a long list of former students who have gone on to play professional sport and represent their country in their discipline, including Manu Tuilagi, Vicky Fleetwood and Darren Stevens. Candidates must be excited by the prospect of combining this legacy with the benefits of our enviable and extensive sports facilities to shape the next phase of our development within the community

As a qualified PE teacher, you will possess a passion for raising achievement in PE both at KS3 and KS4. You will be an excellent team player, with the ability to inspire students in a range of sports and extra-curricular activities including the opportunity for international trips.

Leadership opportunities include positive outreach work, strengthening our existing links with local sports clubs and societies, as well as nurturing new partnerships to provide exceptional experiences. The successful candidate will be passionate about promoting participation from all year groups, genders, backgrounds and abilities and who is confident in an external facing role.
