Teacher of Girls’ PE job summary
We are seeking to appoint an inspiring, dynamic and enthusiastic teacher of girls’ PE to join our PE department. The successful candidate will have a passion for PE and sport that will engage our pupils in physical activity both within lessons and as part of our extra-curricular programme. As a dual use site we have access to fantastic facilities, including a double sized sports hall, two full-size artificial pitches, a dance studio, a gymnasium and a fitness suite. These are all situated in a picturesque 25 acre site with extensive fields.
The post will primarily be teaching PE to Key Stages 3 and 4, however the ability to teach a second subject would be desirable.
We are a small 11-16 Academy which is part of the Weydon Multi Academy Trust. We are a growing school, expected to be at full capacity with a PAN of 900 within the next few years, so you are joining at an exciting time. We are situated in a fantastic location on the outskirts of Haslemere in Surrey. Haslemere lies within Surrey, on the border with Hampshire and West Sussex. We have excellent road and rail links to neighbouring counties; we are situated just 3 minutes’ drive off the main A3 and we are also fortunate to have a train station in Haslemere on the mainline from Portsmouth to Waterloo. This makes us very accessible from the South Coast or outer London areas by train or car.
