Our students are keen to learn and are a real pleasure to teach. Due to the growth of our KS3 and KS5 curriculum, we are looking to recruit a full time Health and Social Care Teacher to teach across both KS4 and KS5. We have a range of departmental initiatives which provide opportunities for the right candidate to cultivate their creative capabilities. This is a really exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and looking to develop their own skills in this area.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
• have QTS and a degree or a similar related Health and Social Care related qualification
• possess recent experience of teaching Health and Social Care or a closely related subject to students in KS3-KS5
• knowledge of the National Curriculum for BTEC Health and Social Care at Level 2 and 3
• be an innovative and reflective practitioner who is keen to learn
• have the resolve to make a real difference to the lives of pupils
• have an interest in and commitment to working with, supporting the development of, and safeguarding children
